📊 Evidence Guidelines
Our investigative desk reviews every submission. To help us verify your story and prioritise it effectively, please ensure your tip meets these standards:
Primary sources: We cannot launch investigations based on rumours or second-hand commentary. We look for primary materials — internal memos, unredacted reports, datasets, financial records, policy drafts, emails, or clear photographic and video evidence.
Clear context: Please include a concise summary with a timeline of events, the departments or agencies involved, and the names and titles of key decision-makers.
Document safety: Some corporate printers embed invisible tracking codes. When possible, provide digital-first files or text transcriptions to protect your identity.
🛡️ How We Protect You
The AWB News takes source protection seriously. We understand that sharing sensitive information requires courage, and we are committed to safeguarding your identity.
You may submit anonymously. No name, phone number, or identifying information is required. We will never disclose a source’s identity without their explicit consent.
🔒 Anonymous submissions accepted
🔒 Identity never disclosed
🔒 Sensitive information handled with discretion
🔒 No obligation to publish
Protecting Your Privacy
Before you share sensitive information, please review these precautions:
Use a personal device: Never submit a tip from a computer, phone, or Wi-Fi network managed by your employer or institution. Use your own device on a trusted network.
Browse privately: Use your browser’s Incognito or Private Browsing mode. After submitting, close all windows and clear your history, cache, and cookies.
Consider Tor: For maximum anonymity, use the Tor Browser (torproject.org) to mask your IP address before accessing this page.
Use a separate email: Create a dedicated email account via ProtonMail or a Signal account with a non-linked number solely for this communication.
⚠️ Important — Please Read Before Submitting
This tip line is for news submissions only and is not for emergencies. If you or anyone is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement or emergency services.
By submitting, you confirm that: (1) the information was obtained legally; (2) you are not sharing classified national security information on behalf of any state; (3) no illegal material is being submitted.
The AWB News reserves the right to verify, edit, or decline to publish any submission. Submission does not guarantee publication. All tips are reviewed for editorial relevance, factual accuracy, and public interest.
While we will exhaust all measures to protect your confidentiality, we cannot shield you from internal corporate device audits or network logging by your employer. Sources are encouraged to seek independent legal counsel if their submission may violate NDAs or employment agreements.

Investigative journalism is a collaborative process. A submission with no contact details rarely leads to publication. To help us verify your story without compromising your identity:

Check back within 72 hours: If you leave no contact information, we may post non-identifying status updates on our secure channels. Please check back within three days.
